This master class, hosted by Lisa Wobbe-Veit, a recovery consultant for Broward County Public Schools, and Michelle Kefford, principal of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, addresses some of the common needs, challenges, and issues that are linked to the aftermath of a school tragedy. The session also covers best practices for recovery, including considerations such as communication approaches, psychological first aid, developing a recovery team, commemoration planning, and providing holistic support to the school community.
