Описание: School safety funding opportunities and grants can be critical resources to help schools create and enhance safe and supportive learning environments. This panel discussion features recent grant recipients, who share their insights on how they successfully navigated the grants management process to identify, secure, and implement school safety funding. The session also provides information on the federal grant landscape and strategies to best develop and implement innovative school safety solutions. Panelists include Dr. Amra Sabic-El-Rayess, professor at Columbia University; Diane B. Wyatt, director of the Department of Safe Schools for the school district of Palm Beach County; and Suzan Samaha (she/her), assistant director of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Center at the Minnesota Department of Education.
