There's room for improvement all around, but managed to get a run without any major mistakes. It's a tough track!
Character/Vehicle Notes:
-Shadow Star is actually good on this track. At the moment, this is the fastest non-legendary run, with the second-fastest being a Jet Star run at 0:59:85 (although there could be more room to optimize that one?).
-I think Dedede is optimal for Shadow Star on this track, but Kawasaki is pretty close. I didn't experiment much with Taranza however, so he could be worth a further look.
Driving Notes:
-Charging a boost on the jump before the lap start is faster, but not by a lot. My ghost doesn't do it (although it does use the boost pads).
-At the first boost pad, it's faster to go airborne for a short moment. I wasn't lined up properly with the sides to do this.
-If you're starting the lap like I am, you have to get lucky for the pace-based ramps to line up. I lost quite a few attempts to this...
-When leaving the rail, I tap up (dive) very slightly. Then start the turn immediately after landing.
-The halfpipe is inconsistent. It's possible to get more speed from it than I did here.
-My spiral execution was a little slow. You don't need to hit the off-road, and the gliding can be tighter to the left.
-The hitting the wall on the next glide is unintentional. Lost time!
