After being inspired by her older sister's performances and her family's passion for the sport, Olympian Josie Baff started snowboarding at five. In 2020, she became the first Australian to win a Winter Youth Olympic gold medal, a breakthrough that shaped her career. Using a combination of nerves and risk to fuel her ambitions, Baff thrives on snowboard cross’s unpredictability, saying she appreciates the need to blend mental focus with physical skill.
