Simulating a Bee City for 100 Days

We built a fully controlled miniature city for honey bees — complete with brood chambers, food stations, ventilation corridors, and a full day–night cycle. What started with a small colony of 500 workers and one queen grew into a thriving city of more than 12,000 bees in just 100 days.
This experiment documents every phase: early biological stress, hive mapping, pheromone marking, wax construction, brood development, food storage, and the formation of complex transport lanes inside the simulated city.
