For 365 days, our laboratory transformed into a living, breathing simulated ocean.

This long-term experiment aimed to recreate a self-sustaining coral reef ecosystem from its earliest and most fragile stages. What began as a barren tank filled with inert rock and substrate slowly evolved into a thriving reef, complete with corals, fish, microorganisms, and complex natural behaviors.
