Crispy Halloumi with Hot Honey and Lemon Whipped Feta | Delicious snack idea

Let’s make delicious crispy Halloumi with hot honey and lemon whipped feta.

Ingredients:
For the halloumi:
1 block halloumi (cut into thick slices)
Olive oil
Pinch of smoked paprika or black pepper

For the whipped feta:
100g feta cheese
2 tbsp Greek yoghurt or cream cheese
1 tsp lemon zest
Squeeze of lemon juice
Cracked black pepper

For the hot honey:
2 tbsp runny honey
½ tsp chilli flakes
Optional: pinch of salt or splash of vinegar

To finish:
Chopped parsley or mint
Extra lemon zest
Crushed pistachios (optional for crunch)

Instructions:
1. Whip the feta:
Blend feta, yoghurt, lemon zest + juice, and pepper until smooth.
Chill in fridge (or keep room temp for spreading).

2. Make the hot honey:
Gently heat honey with chilli flakes (microwave for 20 secs or warm in pan).
Optional: add a drop of vinegar or pinch of sea salt.

3. Crisp the halloumi:
Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan.
Sear halloumi slices for 2–3 mins each side until deeply golden and crispy.

4. Serve:
Swipe whipped feta on a plate with the back of a spoon.
Stack or layer halloumi on top.
Drizzle hot honey all over.
Finish with herbs, extra lemon zest, and pistachios if using.

5. Enjoy!
