Dear, beautiful, special, quirky and very talented Marijn Fidder, It felt so special to me and I am so proud that you gave me the opportunity to tell your story. In this new photo documentary, I may show the people around us who you are, how pure, how genuine, and what a golden heart you have!  

Four months ago, you stepped into my car and we had wonderful conversations about your photo project "Stoute Cellen" (Naugthy cells), in which you follow children with childhood cancer.  We also talked about the many other valuable photo projects you are working on and you explained how life is after winning Dutch highest prize for photojournalism, the "Silver camera". While talking in the car we found out that we both have ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and sometimes have to live with emotional fluctuations.  We had very open and honest conversations about it.  

We visited the great fine art portrait photographer Anne Weidinger who gave us a studio portrait photography workshop. Under the guidance of dear Anne and make-up artist Sanne Kwant, we made amazing photos of each other and edited them together with Anne. By the way, Anne also made some great shots of us, and the cherry on the cake became that we were allowed to photograph a very special model. It was sweet little tough Topper Eva, one of the children you followed for some time during her illness process. For one day she could be a real princess and you were able to photograph her in a "different" way.
 
How wonderful it is that Eva now has been given the all clean and together with her parents has now funded the ewingsarcoma foundation to help other children to cure this very rare form of cancer.
 
Marijn, it was my pleasure to watch you on my computer screen for countless hours, to listen to you and to enjoy again and again the fantastic day we had together.

I am proud of the end result, although it came with some trial and error.  But I have learned from it so much and it has only become even more clear to me that
