Tommy's Trains - Big Summer Adventure Part 5 (Edinburgh and The Royal Scotsman)

Описание: Our final day of our Big Summer Adventure and we finished it in style. After a big breakfast, we headed to Helensburgh Central to catch a train to Edinburgh Waverley where we saw a Network Rail test train with Class 43s.

We then wanted to take Mammy across the Forth Bridge to North Queensferry as she wasn't with us when we did it earlier in the year. Whilst there, we were thrilled as The Royal Scotsman pulled by a class 66 passed. We got lots of horn blasts whilst there before we headed back to Waverly for our train to Newcastle.

We arrived back in Newcastle and then caught our final train, our 14th of the adventure and went home to Cramlington making it 13 stations visited over 4 days.

We've loved the last 4 days and have had such a fun time. The Sidings Hotel was sensational. York and Edinburgh are two of our favourite cities. The trip up to Oban was stunning and Oban itself was so charming and we fell for it instantly. We hope you've enjoyed watching and we thank you for your kind wishes and comments.

We are Tommy and Daddy and we are passionate about trains and planes, but mostly trains. After seeing some older boys creating videos of trains at our local station, we were inspired to give it a go ourselves.
