As someone who lives with anxiety, there are a variety of grounding techniques I use to help me with managing anxiety. The is the 54321 grounding technique (also known as the 54321 anxiety technique). You can learn grounding techniques to help you with managing anxiety without medication. This is another way to practice coping skills for anxiety and depression. This grounding technique is an effective way to approach your anxiety management, can be used for managing anxiety attacks, and can enhance your anxiety attack coping skills. Learn how to do this grounding activity (and five senses mindfulness meditation) for anxiety and use it whenever you need it.
