While traveling through the Grand Line, the Straw Hats meet M!Y/N, an energetic, outgoing, and free-spirited traveler. He claims to roam the seas out of pure love for adventure. Luffy and the others quickly warmed up to him due to his genuine and chaotic nature. Many things lead up to each other and M!Y/N agreed to travel with them for a while since his destined island was part of their journey. However, when Luffy asked him to join the crew, he declined the offer, claiming to be “too free-spirited to be part of a crew.”

The time he had with the straw hats was filled with silly antics and warm experiences. The group grew fond of him as if he were officially part of them. But all good things come to an end as they finally reach the destination that M!Y/N had been aiming for. They said their goodbyes and parted ways with a bittersweet feeling. The time they spent together wasn’t long but wasn’t short either. It took two islands to get to their destination and they took a stop at both, having more adventures with each other. They gained a slight attachment to the traveler and were reluctant to say goodbye, but it was obvious to the crew that M!Y/N had no intentions of staying.

However, little did they know, that M!Y/N is secretly a feared and merciless bounty hunter who hides behind a carefree facade. He is known as Reaper, a masked bounty hunter, who kills every pirate that he sends in for bounties. None of the pirates that he aims for is brought back alive. Reaper is known for his cruel and unforgiving nature towards both Pirates and Marines alike. He ruins anyone who gets in his way and is a reckless and unpredictable person that not even the Marines can handle. No one knows what his aim is, why he’s a bounty hunter, or even what his face looks like.

M!Y/N Backstory:

As a child, his family was killed by powerful pirates, which drove him to vow revenge on the crew responsible. He made a promise to get rid of them and eradicate all pirates (or anyone, really) in his path. He became a ruthless bounty hunter, traveling around and getting rid of strong pirates with high bounties to find clues to where the pirate crew that he was looking for was. He recognized Luffy and Zoro, planning to kill them and take their ship, but changed his mind as he spent more time with the crew. That moment was the only time he broke his promise to himself. The only moment where he didn’t kill pirates that he came across. He hated the waver in his heart and immediately left the crew as soon as they got to their promised destination.
