The Autumn Timber Festival at Shawnee Mountain near East Stroudsburg is one of the best fall festivals in the region. This year it featured the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show complete with log rolling and axe throwing. Pig races were another highlight and every festival at Shawnee Mountain brings in top bands, food trucks, magicians, roaming minstrels, and much more. Many arts & crafts vendors featured products made from wood and chain saw carving artists created wood sculptures from sections of log.
