This hot sauce from the Javanese cuisine is a very spicy and sweet addition to your Javanese noodles or Javanese fried rice! In addition to that, you can also use it in your cooking to add a little zing to your dish! Ingredients:
250 grams of red Habanero peppers
2 large tomatoes (finely chopped)
half an onion (finely chopped)
3-4 large cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
1 tsp. of salt
3 tsp. of chicken powder
2 tsp. of brown sugar
2 tbs. of Gula Jawa (Indonesian palm sugar)
sunflower oil
3 Indonesian bay leaves (Daun Salam)
galangal root
shrimp paste (Trassie)
