Due to COVID-19, the Faculty's 2021 "I wanna be a veterinary professional" event, was presented online by the Faculty's Paraveterinary and Veterinary Student Committee (OPVSC) over two days from 7 - 8 May 2021.
The virtual weekend event, presented in association with Junior Tukkie and Hill's was open for all Grade 8 – 12 learners who registered for the event.
The real-time programme contained live interactive sessions and exciting videos of life as a student at our Faculty in Onderstepoort.
The event was opened by Prof Dietmar Holm, Deputy Dean: Teaching and Learning in the Faculty, who also featured in a discussion on the second day about how to be selected for the Veterinary Science or Veterinary Nursing degrees.
