Fish have anchor worm? Not a pleasant topic as it deals with fish disease, but here is what an anchor worm looks like and how I removed it from my Bristlenose Pleco.
Purchased from a big box store, I noticed something sticking out of my pleco, about a week after purchase, that looked like a sliver. I was shocked when I saw it move. Enter...anchor worm. After some research, here is what I did to remove it.
After 3 years, my pleco is doing great and was a great patient during her first fish surgery.
