Описание: This is my review of the 1997 released Hornby Class 92 Electric Locomotive as 92020 named as "Milton" in the EPS (European Passenger Services) triple grey livery. The EPS Class 92's were intended to be used on overnight sleeper trains that would offer low cost train travel into Europe from the UK via the Channel Tunnel. However this never materialised and was scrapped due to alternative competition from low cost airlines that made this venture unviable sadly.

The Hornby model of 92020 was first announced in the 1996 Hornby Calalogue under the ID number of R374 which was released but the 1997 model received some tweaks and a new ID number of R2004 complete with a new style slide out box as it was part of the Hornby Railways "Top Link" range and the Hornby Class 92 has working directional headlights that illuminate in direction of travel and has the ringfield motor as well.

Personally I think this is still a nice model train from Hornby Railways and it runs very well hence that it is a 21 year old model train. The Hornby Class 92 seemed to be able to handle the rake of freight wagons behind it without any problems. The model train is pre-owned as I did not buy this one new, so the prices of this model locomotive will vary depending on the seller and condition. I would not pay more than £45 for one of these though.
