This EU funded SWITCH-Asia project supports the transition towards a low-carbon housing sector in Mongolia’s cities by engaging consumers, households, companies, financiers, technicians, and public authorities. The project seeks to diversify the range of energy-efficient solutions, strengthen value chains at all levels, expand geographically to provincial capitals, and establish a replication mechanism for national implementation and handover.
Its specific objectives are to:
✅ Contribute to the adoption of less polluting and more resource-efficient housing practices in Mongolia;
✅ Improve urban air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through inclusive access to finance and the scale-up of energy-efficient housing solutions.
