On August 2nd, 2020, the first Sunday of the month, I made a trip up to Northeast PA to see what kinda short-line operations I could stumble upon. I started off at Pittston, PA to see what the Reading & Northern was doing over at their yard, and I found the daily Mehoopany turn, PIME building their train for Proctor & Gamble, so I got in position. Over along Coxton Road and the Susquehanna River, PIME storms up the former Lehigh Valley main behind GP39RN 2530 and GP38-2 2012 with boxcars loaded with paper pulp for P&G. After catching them here, we see them working at Proctor & Gamble in Mehoopany with the 2012 now on the point, after this I headed south to find DL with a pair of RS-3s (the previous upload)...
After DL, I found myself in Scranton, so I headed over to Taylor to find the Pittston Yard Job, YJPI1 interchanging cars with NS at Taylor Yard with GP38-2s 2011 and 2010 for power. I chase them back to Pittston, catching them at Old Forge and Duryea before heading south..
