This recipe is for a 2.5 lb cake

📝 Ingredients
For the Sponge Cake (3 thin layers or 2
Cup Measurements ;
• Oil 1cup
• 1cup sigar
• 1 and 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 and half tsp baking soda (Italiano)
• 5g vanilla essence
• 1/4 cupmilk
• 1/4 cup yogurt yogurt
• 1 tsp instant coffee + ½ cup hot water
• 2 eggs (room temp)
Frosting Ingredients:
• 250gm whipping cream
• 50gm cream cheese
• 2tbsp milk
• 50g sugar (optional)
• 1tsp coffee
Measurement in grams ;
2 Eggs
Flour 175gm
Sugar 200gm
Oil 180gm
Baking soda 8gm
Yogurt 60gm
Milk 90gm
Coffee 5gm + 70gm water
Cocoa powder 50gm
Vanilla essence 1tsp
Frosting Ingredients in cups;
1cup chilled whipping cream
2tbsp cream cheese
1tsp coffee
2tbsp milk
3tbs powder sugar
Bake at 160°C for 50–60 minutes in a 7-inch pan.
(Time may vary based on your oven.)

• After baking, let the cake rest in the freezer for 2–3 hours or refrigerate for 6 hours before unmolding.
• This cake is super moist and fragile when warm — avoid handling it hot.
• Use a plate to lift and layer the cake gently.
• Apply a crumb coat, chill briefly, then apply the final coat of frosting.
• After the final coat, freeze the cake for 1 hour to set the frosting properly.
