PRAWN OMELETTE
TELUR DADAR UDANG

Ingredients:
3 large eggs, beaten
4 large prawns, cleaned and minced
1 tbsp black pepper powder, coarse
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 fresh red chilli. Minced
5 shallots, sliced thinly
Spring onion leaves
1 tbsp light soy sauce
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Method:
1. In a bowl, add in the prawns, soy sauce, black pepper, garlic and combine well.
2. Heat up some oil in a pan. Add in the shallots and prawn mix.
3. Saute until the prawns are cooked. Now, add in the chilli, spring onion and a little salt.
4. Set it aside. Then, in the same pan, add more oil and pour in the beaten eggs. Swirl the pan around to spread the egg mix evenly.
5. Wait for the egg to almost cook. Then, add in the sauteed prawns and more black pepper if you want.
6. You may cover it with a lid while it’s getting cooked. Turn off the flame once it’s cooked and looks crispy on the edges.
Serve it while it’s hot and enjoy!
