A family is devastated after one woman’s cries for help weren’t answered soon enough, and it ended in tragedy. The family of Krystal Evans claims that she made several attempts to get a protective order against her ex-husband, Tom Mallory, and despite being successful on her last attempt, she was not protected. Evans’ daughter, Precious Evans, claims that a family friend requested an escort for her mom, which was never granted following a court proceeding. As a result, her mother was killed by Mallory in the parking lot of the courthouse. The Spaulding County Sheriff’s Department has denied the claims that an escort was refused as well as any wrongdoing.
