An 18-year-old Georgia man is facing federal charges after authorities said he ran onto U.S. Capitol grounds carrying a loaded shotgun while wearing body armor and camouflage.
Court documents said the weapon was loaded and that the man had additional ammunition. Police said he raised the shotgun when questioned but then complied with orders to surrender.
He is being held without bond.
