Scarlets Community Foundation Golf Day | Machynys Peninsula Golf Club
The GDG team were proud to deliver our first-ever Scarlets Community Foundation Golf Day, and what a day it was. Set at the stunning Machynys Peninsula Golf Club, the event brought together current and former Scarlets players, coaches, foundation members, and rugby legend Jonathan 'Jiffy' Davies.
From challenging winds on the Nicklaus Championship course to the return of our unique on-course activities, it was a brilliant mix of sport, fundraising, and laughter. A special twist came in the form of “Hammer the Holley”, a nearest-the-pin showdown with Sean Holley on the 17th hole.
Post-golf, Jiffy had the room in stitches with his trademark Q&A, touching on everything from his playing days to Lions predictions.
Big thanks to Buffoon Media and Riley Sports for capturing all the action and to everyone who helped raise funds for the brilliant work the Scarlets Community Foundation does across sport, education, and wellbeing in the region.
