The transport sector and the Nairobi metropolitan services are some of the biggest winners in the revised budget estimates to be debated by parliament next week. The Nairobi Metropolitan Services has been allocated a total of 28.4 billion shillings while transport will receive a total of 190 billion shillings. The 1.9 trillion estimates leave the national treasury with a funding gap of one trillion shillings.
