📖 سُورَةُ ٱلْأَنْبِيَاء
Surah al-Anbiyāʾ (21:87)
And remember when the Man of the Whale (Prophet Yunus عليه السلام) left his people in anger, thinking that We would not test him. Then in the depths of darkness he cried out:
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
"There is no god worthy of worship except You. Glory be to You. Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers."
This powerful duʿāʾ teaches humility, repentance, and turning back to Allah in moments of hardship. Even in the deepest darkness, sincere remembrance of Allah opens the door to mercy and relief.
Arabic Insights:
• لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ – Affirmation of pure tawḥīd and reliance on Allah alone.
• الظَّالِمِينَ – Recognizing one's own shortcomings and taking responsibility before Allah.
May Allah allow us to remember Him in every moment and accept our duʿās in this blessed month of Ramadan.
