Описание: I was contacted by a Bald Explorer fan's wife and asked whether or not, for her husband's 50th birthday, he could join me on a video walk. 'Where to?' I asked. 'How about Firle', she said.

Firle is a delightful and unspoilt village in East Sussex at the foot of the Southdowns, close to Lewes. It is mentioned in the Domesday Book, referred to as 'Ferla'. The value of the village is listed as being £44,] which was amongst the highest in the county.
