This stunning half-timbered Wealden house was gifted by King Henry VIII to his fourth Queen, Anne of Cleves, as part of her annulment settlement. Anne never lived here, but as an Inn, it provided her with a substantial income to support her lavish lifestyle at nearby Hever Castle.
