We visited Al Shindagha Museum Dubai during the beautiful Haq Al Laila 2026 celebration — a special Emirati tradition before Ramadan filled with sweets, culture, and community vibes 🇦🇪✨
The museum hosted amazing heritage activities, cultural tours, storytelling, workshops, and traditional trails for kids in historic Old Dubai. My kids were super excited to collect their Haq Al Laila goody bags… but unfortunately we reached after 8 PM — just when the last group of kids left 😢 My elder daughter got emotional because she came especially for this celebration.
Still, we explored this huge heritage museum for more than 2 hours, saw traditional houses, enjoyed the Dubai Creek history vibe, and had some simple snacks (Oman chips with yogurt & hot sauce + donut 😋).
Totally exhausted until my husband came to pick us up!
Al Shindagha Museum is truly worth visiting if you want to experience authentic UAE culture beyond modern Dubai.
