Our viewer framebuffer tipped us off to Youtube's reencoding which blurs the video and makes it harder to see the ugliness of nearest-neighbor interpolation. Thanks! I upscaled to 4k, which triggers Youtube to use a better encoder.

With the help of glQuake, this video covers bilinear filtering and mipmapping and why these techniques look better than software rendered games using nearest-neighbor interpolation.
