Описание: The Calderpark Weir stands on the River Calder near Lochwinnoch. It once powered the Calderpark, Calderheugh Cottonmills and the later the Calderheugh Cabinet Works. At first a natural volcanic dyke diverted water into a lade and later a substantial stone dam with a sluice was built. The stone dam burst at some point and the lade was abandoned. A new concrete weir with a sluice supplied water when need to a new weir at the factory.
