Class 14 start up (D9513)

Описание: This is the first start up of D9513 after we had modified the cooler group to accept class 56 radiator elements to cure the overheating issues she had with the old "truck"style radiators,the conversion went really well with quite a bit of the bottom half of the cooler group being removed and replaced with a pair of modified lower element manifolds and all new relative sheet metal work,it does look a proper job almost like a bespoke Serc cooler group,As you can see we had "issues" starting her up at first due to the fuel rack not opening up properly (the initial puff of smoke) this was traced to a terminal post in the Engine run solenoid circuit that had really high resistance across 2 of its posts due to corrosion hence the rack being "helped open" by Big Razza,the wiring has since been repaired and she fires up off the button,whilst we had the cooler group out we fitted a pair of original Revells style exhausters to replace the class 08 one that was fitted so she will now suck off 4 coaches like a good'un ;o
