Disaster struck at the mining site today! Our massive Caterpillar wheel loader suffered a major rear tire puncture while hauling heavy rocks deep in the mountains. Fixing a machine this size in the middle of nowhere is no easy task.
In this video, you’ll see some incredible field engineering. We used the loader's own bucket and massive boulders to lift the rear chassis off the ground to access the tire. From pulling it out of the rugged mining terrain to the heavy-duty tube patching at the tire shop, we cover the entire process of getting this beast back to work.
