Police responded to a luxury car dealership after the finance manager thought that someone might be using a stolen identity to purchase a Maserati.
He then ran that same information through their system and realized that the same person had purchased a $57k Kia with $0 down using the stolen identity weeks earlier.
When police arrived the group of individuals were in the Kia at the back of the dealership waiting to get the keys to the Maserati they thought they were picking up. The person trying to present themselves as someone else was arrested and charged with False Statement to Obtain Credit. The other people were not arrested.
