El "layout" general de los mapas es bastante reconocible, pero todo hecho al estilo de Doom 64, con su particular ambientación, e incluso más detalle. Algunos mapas tienen cambios algo mayores, como el nivel secreto, mucho más grande y lleno de enemigos, o el nivel final. Los secretos son básicamente los mismos, así que si sabes cuáles son los del juego original, no te cuesta demasiado encontrarlos aquí. Full gameplay of the fan-made campaign that recreates the first and influential episode of the original Doom, Knee-Deep in the Dead, made for Doom 64 CE (enhanced version of Doom 64,
Nintendo 64's installment of Doom). The general layout of the maps is quite recognizable, but all done in Doom 64 style, with its particular setting, and even more detail. Some maps have major changes, such as the secret level, much larger and full of enemies, or the final level. The secrets are basically the same, so if you know the ones from the original game, it isn't too hard to find them here. Overall I found it a very good recreation, it was fun to replay the chapter I've played hundreds of times but with a different touch that makes it fresh. Highly recommended.
