उसभ-मजिअं च वंदे, संभव-मभिणंदणं च सुमइं च ।
पउम-प्पहं सुपासं, जिणं च चंद-प्पहं वंदे ।। 2 ।।

सुविहिं च पुप्फ-दंतं, सीयल-सिज्जंस-वासु-पुज्जं च ।
विमल-मणंतं च जिणं, धम्मं संतिं च वंदामि ।। 3 ।।

कुंथुं अरं च मल्लिं, वंदे मुणि-सुव्वयं नमि-जिणं च ।
वंदामि रिट्ठ-नेमिं, पासं तह वद्धमाणं च ।। 4 ।।

एवं मए अभिथुआ, विहुय-रय-मला पहीण-जर-मरणा ।
चउ-वीसं पि जिणवरा, तित्थ-यरा मे पसीयंतु ।। 5 ।।

कित्तिय-वंदिय-महिया, जे ए लोगस्स उत्तमा सिद्धा ।
आरुग्ग-बोहि-लाभं, समाहि-वर-मुत्तमं-दिंतु ।। 6 ।।

चंदेसु निम्मल-यरा, आइच्चेसु अहियं पयास-यरा ।
सागर-वर-गंभीरा, सिद्धा सिद्धिं मम दिसंतु ।। 7 ।।

Logassa Sutra – Line-by-Line English Meaning
Verse 1
लोगस्स उज्जोअगरे, धम्म-तित्थयरे जिणे ।
Logassa ujjoyagare, dhamma-titthayare jiṇe

The conquerors (Jinas) who illuminate the world,
who establish the ford (path) of Dharma;

अरिहंते कित्तइस्सं, चउवीसं पि केवली ॥१॥
Arihante kittaiṣṣaṁ, chauvīsaṁ pi kevalī

I praise the Arihantas,
all the twenty-four Omniscient Ones.

Verse 2
उसभ-मजिअं च वंदे, संभव-मभिणंदणं च सुमइं च ।

I bow to Ṛṣabha, Ajita,
Sambhava, Abhinandana, and Sumati;

पउम-प्पहं सुपासं, जिणं च चंद-प्पहं वंदे ॥२॥

to Padmaprabha, Suparśva,
and the Jina Chandraprabha.

Verse 3
सुविहिं च पुप्फ-दंतं, सीयल-सिज्जंस-वासु-पुज्जं च ।

To Suvidhi (Pushpadanta), Śītala,
Śreyāṁsa, Vāsupūjya;

विमल-मणंतं च जिणं, धम्मं संतिं च वंदामि ॥३॥

I bow to Vimalanātha, Anantanātha,
Dharmanātha, and Śāntinātha.

Verse 4
कुंथुं अरं च मल्लिं, वंदे मुणि-सुव्वयं नमि-जिणं च ।

I bow to Kunthu, Ara, Malli,
Munisuvrata, and Naminātha;

वंदामि रिट्ठ-नेमिं, पासं तह वद्धमाणं च ॥४॥

I bow to Ariṣṭanemi, Pārśvanātha,
and Vardhamāna (Mahāvīra).

Verse 5
एवं मए अभिथुआ, विहुय-रय-मला पहीण-जर-मरणा ।

Thus praised by me,
those who have destroyed the dust of karma and transcended aging and death;

चउ-वीसं पि जिणवरा, तित्थ-यरा मे पसीयंतु ॥५॥

May all the twenty-four supreme Jinas,
the Tīrthaṅkaras, be pleased with me.

Verse 6
कित्तिय-वंदिय-महिया, जे ए लोगस्स उत्तमा सिद्धा ।

Those who are praised, revered, and honored,
who are the supreme liberated souls of the universe;

आरुग्ग-बोहि-लाभं, समाहि-वर-मुत्तमं-दिंतु ॥६॥

May they grant me health, right awakening,
and the highest state of spiritual equanimity.

Verse 7
चंदेसु निम्मल-यरा, आइच्चेसु अहियं पयास-यरा ।

Pure like the moon among moons,
radiant beyond the sun among suns;

सागर-वर-गंभीरा, सिद्धा सिद्धिं मम दिसंतु ॥७॥

Deep like the finest ocean,
may the Siddhas show me the path to liberation.
