I do not own the copyright to any of these songs. I am uploading this mix tape as I believe it is of historical interest to anyone who was a part of the free party scene in the early to mid 1990s in the UK.
Smokescreen was a Sheffield-based soundsystem who played in and around south Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. I wanted to upload this as I feel that especially Nottingham and Sheffield were somewhat underrepresented in terms of their contributions to rave and tribal dance in this era.
This tape is from a New Year's Eve party, 1994 into 1995. While I do not know all of the songs, it does feature the following:
