The first visit by a chick! I thought it would be months away but he came in hard when he saw that skink – I can't believe he can swallow such large objects! Must-see moments 4:45, 7:25 and 11:55. He also scored some roaches and some curl
He's amazingly chilled around me. He was sitting on the giant tree tomato trellis while I was watering quite close to me and he didn't care that I was under it. I suspect he was too full to fly off. He'd eaten a LOT!
Watering really stirs up insects. At 20:41 Dad benefits from couple I caught. Note the absence of screaming chick. He must have been full.
Mum shows up at 25:56 just after Dad left so she got a bale to herself.
