Jaraguá do Sul, with an estimated population of around 184,500 in 2021, is a medium-sized city in the state of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil. It is particularly important from an economic perspective. The shooting festival, which was launched in 1989, aims to preserve German traditions in the city.
