This is the first of many for the upcoming Repair Series I’ll be adding to my channel which will include proper cleaning techniques & the repairing/ rebuilding of Postwar Lionel Trains & Accessories.
The 624 was a simple breakdown & deep cleaning. Not one thing was wrong w/ it other than the rear bulb was burnt out.
One thing I forgot to add is that I only use dawn dish soap & warm/ hot water & a paintbrush & toothbrush to clean the cab off with. I’d never use anything but this method, & I’ve cleaned lots of my stock thus far without damage.
