Postwar Lionel MKT 600 Switcher
It didn’t run when I got it, it was dirty, dusty, dingy, filled with spiders, and totally incapable of moving under its own power.
Well, it still doesn’t run well, but at least it looks a lot better!!

I took my time and tried many different things to get this engine working. It works ok once in motion, but the motor is still stubborn and doesn’t like start.
Check out all the steps I took, maybe you can help me realize what I’m missing, or use the video to help you diagnose your own engines.
