A special event in honour of a rare hero, this is the canonisation of Saint Stanislav Nasadil, a 20th century martyr.
This truly unique event was filmed at the Cathedral of the Dormition & St. John the Merciful, in Košice, Slovakia, 2019. Our special thanks to the kindness of our friend Jozka for the hospitality!
Errata: We incorrectly said that Stanislav was from Slovakia. This was of course before Slovakia was a country, but his hometown was actually in the modern day Czech Republic.
ALSO (we're imperfect) the date of the Divine Liturgy is of course supposed to read as the 9th, not the 8th, which was Vespers the night before
