Описание: A tragic accident at the Surajkund Fair in Faridabad claimed one life and left at least 13 people injured when a tsunami joyride collapsed around 6.15 pm. Police Inspector Jagdish Prasad, who rushed to rescue those trapped, was fatally injured when part of the ride struck him on the face and head.

Senior district officials, including the Faridabad Deputy Commissioner, the Managing Director of Tourism, and Haryana DGP Ajay Singhal, rushed to the spot and visited the injured at the hospital. The area was immediately barricaded to prevent further mishaps.

An FIR has been registered, and a detailed investigation has been ordered against the ride operator. Earlier, a food court gate had reportedly fallen due to strong winds, raising fresh concerns about safety arrangements at the fair.
