Fire plough (Tips in write up)

...Thought I'd better put a bit more time into the fire plough again as the last few times I've tried have been unsuccessful  partly due to bad technique but also it turns out my blade needed major readjustment.

...Watching Malachi's fire plough tips from @rockyinstincts was of huge benefit to me. I sure wish I'd found him when I srarted learning this one. I learned how to refine my ploughing action by keeping my arms straighter & rocking forward with my upper body resulting in more downward pressure  & by trimming the blade to around 6 to 8 mm thick throughout the width of the blade meant it stayed the same thickness throughout the process. Before I was getting a wedge shaped blade that got thicker as I ploughed resulting in more drag making it increasingly harder with every stroke.

...These two adjustments have proved to make a massive difference to me. I know a few of you guys are learning the plough & I strongly  recommend checking out  @rockyinstincts  fire plough tips on the top of his home page. For me it's the best plough demo I've seen on line hands down & you'll save your self hours of frustration if you follow his great tutorial...
