Apple Coffee Cake Recipe (Norwegian Apple Pudding)
1-1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. almond extract
4 large red apples

NOTE: As one of my subscribers has pointed out, use red apples as they will bake up a bit softer. Today I am making a Norwegian Apple Pudding which is very similar to an Apple Coffee Cake. This recipe is from my grandmother's recipe collection.
