Magneto – Full Drawing & Gouache Painting Process | X-Men Villain Art Tutorial

Описание: Join me as I take you through the entire creative process of bringing Magneto — one of the most iconic villains in Marvel’s X-Men universe — to life. From the first pencil lines to the final gouache painting, I’ll share my techniques, color choices, and lessons learned along the way.
This project was inspired by the legendary Jim Lee X-Men #1 era, but with my own artistic interpretation.

I’ll talk about:
Building the figure with simple tools (HB pencil, eraser, cotton swab)
Sealing the drawing with fixative and gesso
Establishing mood with the first wash of color
Choosing a palette of dark reds and bluish purples
Layering gouache (wet-on-wet vs. wet-on-dry)
The challenge of rendering Magneto’s hand in foreshortening
Adding highlights, shadows, and final details
