This is a closing video, where I describe the chaos has come with a single boat purchase. I had such big dreams for this boat. But, it's just not worked out as planned. The issues have continued to compound, starting 2 days after first putting it in the water.
Fiona is the highest mileage Westsail on the planet. She's also most likely the most famous. Eric sailed her to every inch of the planet. I have nothing but respect for everything he did aboard her. But with that much sailing comes a boat that is, well, to put it simply, worn out.
Thanks again for everyone that has continued to watch the episodes week after week. I really do appreciate it. I'm even more grateful for those that have commented and interacted on a regular basis.
As much as I don't want it to be, the purchase of this boat has obliterated my love of being on the water. This isn't a choice that was made on a whim; I've spent countless sleepless nights filled with anxiety while considering all options. In the end, I believe I've made the right judgement call for myself.
