Welcome back, and thanks for joining me as we head down to Thompson Bay, Long Island. This particular sail was the fastest I'd ever had Maritopia while solo. Before I was familiar with sailboats, a friend (you were right, John) used to tell me that I would be concerned with 10ths of knots. I shrugged it off every time he told me. But on this sail, had I had the dinghy and swim platform stowed, I could've got a few more 10ths, and broken my all time high speed of 8.3 (with others on board). We'll explore Long Island, do some shopping & make friends with some locals. After a minor repair, I'll start heading back to George Town on my first downwind sail, in which I get to go wing on wing for the first time ever. I hope everyone enjoys the video! Please do comment.
