ALWAYS go for perfect form.
The strenght/position exercises can be done for 30+ seconds and more sets are they are relatively easy.
If you have wrists problems you can try to use parallel bars, if the problem persists stop planche training and try to strengthen your tendons with basics or to get rid of the possible injury
