Описание: The Bloemfontein Zoo was closed down temporarily in November 2019 but was shut permanently in March of 2020 after the SPCA advised the zoo closes due to the mismanagement and lack of care for the animals. The zoo has since been empty except for the 11 buffaloes and the free roaming peacocks, meerkats, rabbits and dassies. Most of the animals were relocated but many died in the process and the Freestate zoo's exotic birds were allegedly stolen in the dead of night.
