"Duerme Pueblo Mío" is a blend of "Canción de Cuna" and "Cuando crezcas pueblo mío" by Luis Enrique Mejía Godoy. He fostered nationalism throughout Nicaragua's Sandinista Revolution, urging youth to follow their dreams of a better Nicaragua until those dreams became a reality.

Stanford Talisman is a student-led a cappella group at Stanford University dedicated to sharing stories through song. This has become our mantra as we strive to respectfully give voice to the vast collection of human stories told through rich and vibrant song.
